Session fees:

50-minute individual: $160
50-minute couples: $175

A standard session is 50 minutes. Sessions can also be booked in 75-minute and 100 minute increments.

I am available for in-person and virtual sessions Monday through Thursday, from mid-morning to early evening. Additionally, virtual sessions are available on Fridays during the early afternoons.

Payment is expected at the conclusion of each session. Please note that my practice operates as an Out-Of-Network provider and does not accept insurance. Payment can be made using major debit and credit cards, FSA/HSA debit cards, and Zelle.

Healing Horizons Wellness does not directly accept health insurance. However, we can assist you in seeking reimbursement by providing a superbill. A superbill is a detailed invoice containing the necessary information for submitting a claim to your insurance company. This includes your therapist's name, our office address, national provider ID number (NPI), business tax ID number, mental health diagnosis, dates of service, procedure codes, and the fees paid. Please note that while we can provide this documentation, we do not guarantee reimbursement from your insurance provider.

Choosing not to use health insurance for therapy sessions offers several advantages:

Personalized Care: You have full control over your treatment, including selecting your therapist and determining the duration of your sessions.

Enhanced Privacy: Opting out of insurance coverage provides greater confidentiality, although certain limitations to confidentiality may still apply.

Avoiding Diagnosis Disclosure: Without submitting claims to insurance, you can avoid having a mental health diagnosis recorded on your medical records. However, if you choose to use a superbill, a diagnosis is required.

Comprehensive Counseling: By bypassing insurance constraints, you can explore a wider range of topics during sessions, including coping strategies for life changes, improving relationship communication, gaining self-awareness, and acquiring valuable life skills.

Even if you decide to utilize your health insurance, I respect your decision. If you provide me with a list of therapists within your insurance network, I can assist you in finding a suitable match.

A 24-hour cancellation notice is required for any appointment changes. Failure to communicate with your therapist within this window will result in being charged the full session rate. Consistent attendance is crucial for making progress towards your therapeutic goals. Clients who do not respond to communication attempts from Healing Horizons Wellness will receive a Client Discharge notice within 30 days of no contact or lack of response to communication attempts.

Please be aware that I do not provide letters or complete paperwork that falls outside of my scope of practice, such as ESA or FMLA documentation. However, I can offer valuable resources and referrals as needed to assist you further.

As of January 1, 2022, pursuant to Section 2799B-6 of the Public Health Service Act, the 'No Surprises Act' mandates practitioners to furnish a 'Good Faith Estimate' (GFE) outlining out-of-network care costs. At Healing Horizons Wellness, we will provide your fee-for-service information before your initial appointment through the Simple Practice Portal. We collaborate with clients to develop treatment plans and communicate openly, both verbally and in writing, about ongoing care costs.
